Comfortable Job Vs. Challenging Job

If I could choose between a comfortable job and a challenging job, and the pay was the same, I would probably choose the comfortable job.  Having a challenging job would be nice if I liked a challenge every day, but it would bring a lot of stress which would lead to depression and moodiness!  If I had a comfortable job I would still be working but in an environment that would create less stress and make me feel at home!  Comfortable is the way to go!

My Dream Car

My dream car is a voltz wagon bus!  I love vw cars and I love old vintage things.  I have wanted a vw bus since I was little!  Many people want a mercedes, mustang, or bentlys, but old is definitely the way to go!  Also, one other car I would love to have would be an old truck!  My friend's dad and brother are fixing up an old old truck and repainting it and it is the prettiest car I've ever seen!  I love big muscular trucks.  The bigger the better!!

If today was my LAST DAY...

If today was my last day to live, I would try to do as many things on my bucket list I could.  I would call up all of my relatives and tell that that I loved them.  I would apologize for anyone I hurt and try to make things right.
I know this is what I would do if today was my last day to live, but I will never know when my last day is, so I should live everyday like its my last.

If money wasn't a necessity...

If money wasn't a necessity, I would work at the zoo.  I love animals and I love going to the zoo!  When I was little my papa would take me every year to the Phoenix Zoo, and we would always spend the whole day there, making sure we visited all the animals and went through the playground atleast four times.  I practically grew up at the zoo and it is definitely a special place for me!  If money wasn't an option I would definitely work at the zoo!
One other job I would love to do if money wasn't an option would be to be a character at Disneyland!!  I love everything Disney and how cool would it be to work as a character at Disneyland for a career!

Memories From Elementary School

One of my memories from elementary school is my last day of sixth grade.  We decided to have a partysince it was my teacher's birthday, and my friend Jacob's birthday.  We had a rootbeer float party and then had fun activities all day.  All the girls straightened their hair and all the boys, that could, put their hair in pony hawks.  I was sad that it was my last day ever at Greenbriar.  These were the people I practically grew up with and now we were all parting.  Only about 6 of us were going to Desert Sky and the rest went to Highland lakes.  I was going to miss all of these people until I saw them again in high school.

What Makes a Good Parent?

The difference between a deadbeat parent and a good parent can sometimes be difficult to distinguish.  Honestly, its your opinion if the parent is a good parent or a bad parent.  For example, my opinion of a bad parent would be someone who leaves their child alone who is incappable of doing things for themselves.  Also, leaving a child in the car with the windows up for a certain period of time is dangerous for the child.  Also, in my opinion, a bad parent would be one that let their kids go out partying whenever they wanted to, knew their kid was sexually active and did't say anything, and a parent that won't punish their child after doing something wrong.  This gives the child no respect for their parents.  They will think they can walk all over you and get away with anything they want.

A good parent, in my opinion, would be a parent that spends time with their child.  This lets them know you are always there for them.  Another example of a good parent is to not be the "cool" parent.  This example is more for the moms.  THey like to hang out with their daughters and her friends and gossip and they dont ever want to punish them.  You had your years as a teen so there is no need for you to try to relive them through your daughters.  A good parent is one that will set boundaries for the kids.  Laying down the law will keep your kids out of a lot of trouble and they will respect you for it!

What Do People Do When They Retire?

When people retire I think they go somewhere they really like.  My grandma said that when my papa retires, they are going to move up north and get a cabin house.  My grandma wants to get a german shepard to watch over them.  Its been my grandma's dream to live in a cabin.  Also, I feel when they retire, they can have time to relax and do fun stuff they couldn't do because of work.

Role of the Presidential Election

I think the role of the presidential election will be mainly to fix the economy.  We want a president that will bring us out of this bad economy where people are barely getting by, to an economy where people will feel a sense of security like they use to.  Also, school funding should also be a huge factor that should be changed.  If we want to be able to compete with China in education and jobs then we need to stop cutting school budgets and instead invest in schools since they are teaching what is our future generation!

Farthest From Home

The farthest I've been from home was probably to Washington.  Me and my mom went there to visit her friend Marie.  I was about 5 years old and had to miss some kindergarden.  It was really fun out there and I got to hang out with Marie's boyfriend, who reminds me of Ross from friends, while my mom and Marie went out.  We got to go to this restraunt where we sat on bean bags.  It the coolest experience ever!

My Closest Relative

Besides my sister, my closest relative is my grandma.  I tell my grandma everything!  I don't get to see her as much as I used to because I'm always busy with softball and school.  Over Winter Break I got to spend the night at my grandma's with my sister and my best friend Taylor.  Me and my grandma and Taylor almost stayed up all night playing scrabble and cards and watching Finding Nemo and eating!  I love spending the night at my grandma's apartment!
I don't know what it is about grandma's, but they are the people you can alawys feel comfortable telling things too.  I love my Grandma!

Improving 'My Student'

This year, to improve 'my student' I've decided to become more organized. Last semester I had trouble keeping everything I needed where I could find it.  I'm going to study extra hard for my apush chapter test because those were the death of me!  Instead of one big binder, I'm using folders for each of my classes to help keep me organized.  The one thing I'm lacking is a planner, but I think I'll be alright.

New Years Resolutions...

This year I really wasn't sure what I wanted my New Year's resolutions to be.  Usually my mom would go around with the video camara asking everyone what their new years resolutions were and we would have to make one up on the spot.  Since she didn't walk around wwith the camara this year I didn't get to make one, so, I decided my New Year's resolutions are more like expectations rather than goals.
1. Finish the school year with all A's and B's and nothing less.
2. Get atleast a B on all my finals.
3. Become a team leader in softball.
4. Play every game in Varsity and be one of the top players for on base percentage.
5. Have my combined sweet sixteen with my sister!

Winter Break!

Over the break I barely had any relax time.  Starting the last day of school, I had my dad's family over for Christmas.  The next day was Christmas Eve so we had another Christmas party at our house.  Next day was Christmas Day so we had a party at our house and a party at my great tata's house.  It was a crazy and super fun Christmas.  After Christmas we started getting the house ready for New Years.  We needed to buy things for the house, start spring cleaning in winter, and make sure we unpacked our things from our old house.  New years was a blast!  I ended up spending the night at my friends house at 2 in the morning.  Finally, all the partying was over with.  Now druing the day I just had to babysit my little brother and sister and make sure all my chores were done.  The weekend before school started my mom took me and my sister school shopping for clothes and anything else we wanted to buy.  Saturday night my family went down to Chandler for my sister's 21'st birthday.   It was a very fun break!
