Let Me Tell Ya Bout My Bestfriend...
The person who has had the most im[act on me, besides family, would be my bestfriend Taylor. We've only known eachother for about 6 years but I feel like I've known her my whole life! She is like my twin. We don't look the same, but that's the only difference between us. I can tell her anything and she tries really hard to understand and help me and vice versa. I really could not imagine my life without her. She is a 7months younger so she's only a sophomore, but when she graduates we are going to go to the same college and share an apartment. We're also going to travel to many different places and meet lots of famous people! I love my BESTFRIEND!

An Ugly President??
The question posed by Joy Behar was, "Do you think the country would elect an ugly person as president?"
This is a tough question to answer. I feel like Americans are very superficial and even though I would like to believe that we would, I doubt the people could. If the ugly person had very strong ideas and plans that would help America, it shouldn't matter what the person looks like, it should be based on what he has to offer America. People in America have to get over all our superficial ways and learn that it doesn't matter what the person looks like on the outside but it's what's on the inside that counts!

Procastinator!
In forensics, my class was assigned a huge book report where we had to, on one side of the poster board, advertise the book in a way that would make people want to watch or read it. Then, on the other side, had to do the book report. Most of the books on the list of books we could read were very long! I'm not much of a reader, and the book was very confusing to understand! So, my mom rented the movie so I could compare the book with the movie. They were very similar the only difference was it was easier to understand the movie! The book report is due Friday and I have only took notes on the book report part! If I'm going to finish this I will have to get my butt moving after school and finish it before practice today and tomorrow!!

Old Friends
My dad worked for a group home for boys about 3-4 years ago. He was the night watch which meant at 6 he would go over there and spend the night with them to make sure they dont get themselves into any trouble then at 6 the next morning would come back home and take me and my sister to school. My dad ended up gaining three "sons" while he was there; Jaime, Dustin, and James. James recently came back from Afghanastan and him and Jaime came over for dinner last night to visit my dad. It was nice seeing them again, since I practically grew up with them and now I dont get to see them that much. I remember being 10 and Jaime taught me and my sister how to ice skate. These three boys were like my adopted older brothers! I'm glad that every once in a while they come over and visit!

Soooo TIRED!!!
So, I think this whole weekend Igot a total of 11 hours of sleep! So starting Friday, I went to get my permit and I PASSED!!!:) (watch out Arizona!) Then I went to the homecoming game with my sister, her friend, my cousin (who we painted blue!), and my best friend Taylor! That game was so exciting!!! (Good job skyhawks!). I got home at about 11 and didnt go to bed until about 12. I had to wake up at 6AM for a softball tournament and was definitely pooped! We had two games since we had homecoming later that day. We won both of our games and it was time to go home and get ready for homecoming! We got a party bus to drive us to take pictures and drop off and pick us up at the dance. That was the a night I would never forget!! So that night I didn't go to bed until about12:30-1 and again had to wake up at 6 the next morning to finish our tournament. It didn't matter how tired we were, we were determined to win! And we did as we planned undefeated champions of the tournament! This weekend was a crazy, exciting, exhausting weekend but was so worth it! (p.s. If I fall asleep in class you'll understand why!(;)

What Do I Look Like??
My family is filled with short people so it was obvious I wasn't going to be 6ft anything! Today, our spirit day is Power Ranger Day, (class color day), and each grade is assigned a different color to wear. For example, freshman are green, sophomores are red, juniors are pink, and seniors are black, (kinda depressing but whatever). This day seperates the grades not only by color but by which grade has the most spirit. I came to school in all pink to represent all my juniors and I walk into class with questioned eyes staring at me. I don't understand why until a kid turns to me and says, "your a junior?!?". Really? Ever since I was little no ever believes I belong in the grade I'm in. Thanks alot genes, I won't ever look my age!!

Test #2
- The spot healing brush tool is used for many different things. For example, if you took a picture and had blemishes on your face, this tool could be used to take the color around the blemish and match it.
- If something is opac, than it is see through.
- (6) I would use the paint brush tool when using layer.
- (13) I think this test was alot better than the other test. I felt like I understood alot more of the tools this time around .
Spirit Week!
It's finally HOMECOMING week! This means we have spirit days Monday through Friday and they're always different!!! Monday was Superhero day and ofcourse I was all decked out in my superhero swag. Today, (Tuesday), is caveman day. Tomorrow, (Wednesday), is class color day and I am going to be covered in poink from head to toe! (Juniors got to represent!(:) Thursday is multiplicity day and the juniors are going to surprise the whole school... just wait! Finally, Friday is blue out day and this is probably the one day that almost EVERYBODY will do!! Man, do I love spirit days!!<3

Slump
So, lately I've been in a huge hitting slump. Every time I go up to bat I either strike out or I pop up. Saturday was the worst day for this to happen. We had pool play games that would determine who you play the next day. I could not hit the ball to save my life!! I got on all of three times in the three games, (if you didn't know that's not good!). So finally in the last game I got on tiwce and scored to contribute to our win! We ended up getting first in our bracket which meant we could sleep in Sunday. But my day did not end there! We had a party at our house to watch the fight, (by the way, Mayweather is unsportsman like, rude, and many other things!), and I was in the batting cage for about 45 minutes with my coach trying to fix my swing. It worked! Sunday I finally got out of my slump and was able to show off my base running skills!

"Practice Like Somebodys Watching"
Yesterday, I had practice with my team from 6:30-9:45. We worked first in the batting cages and hitting stations at Rio Vista for about an hour. Then it was off to field 2 to start the real practice. My coach really focused on base running and how to read the ball of the bat. It was a very good practice and siunce college coaches came to our tournament to watch us play, they said to "practice like somebody was watching." So thats what we did and practice seemed to go by so fast! I guess hard-work really does pay off!

After High School I...
After high school I plan to go to a D1 college, (hopefully on scholarship), for softball. My biggest dream is to play for ASU and win the world series again. After I finish college, instead of rushing into a career that I'll most likely be doing for a long time, my sister, neighbor, and I are planning to take a trip to Europe, New Zealand, and Australia. I've always wanted to travel and what better places to go?? After that I would like to try to get into acting but its hard to do!!

9/11 Tragedy
This Sunday, it was the 10th anniversary of the attack on the twin towers. My team was plaing in a tournament that day but did not forget what had happened ten years ago! In support of our country and in remembrance of all those who were lost, my team wore yellow bows saying we will never forget. There was an american flag seperating each phrase.

Homerun Hitter!
The feeling of running around the bases nonstop is the best feeling in the world, especially if it is during a game! This weekend my travel softball team had a tournament. It was our first 18A tournament. This is for the best of the best teams and we were in it. It was our second pool play game and I wasn't doing to hot the first game. I was feeling really sick but I knew I couldn't use that as an excuse. I knew I had to bring my runners in so I watched the ball come in and POW! After that I was waved all the way to home. My hit had went all the way to the right field fence! I had hit a three-run homerun!!:D The score ended up being 7-6. We won! All I could do was thank God for giving me the patience and speed to help my team win!

TEST 1
1. The slice tool is used to divide the picture into different frames. For example, if you were making a movie you could use this for dividing the picture from the menu button, special effects button, etc.
5. On the wand tool, tolerance is the amout of that color pixel or pixels around it get chosen. If you have a higher tolerance, the wand will pick up pixels of that color and the pixels touching that color. If you have a lower tolerance, the wand will pick up just the pixels of that color in the selected area.
8. The ruler is used to measure objects on your project. You can take the ruler place it on the page and measure the height and width of the selcted portion.
11. I felt like I didn't know some of the tools that were asked in this test. I was having problems with the wand selecting the whole page and had to keepmessing around with it. I felt a little behind but for the most part, I feel like I did pretty good. I like these test better than a pen and paper test!
We Will Remember!
Today are school is showing our patriotism towards are country in rememberance of 9-11. Most people are decked out in red white and blue in honor of all those who lost their lives in 9-11. This is to show are support of all the brave people who may have risked their lives trying to save someone else or for all the families who expierienced huge losses. It's a reminder that we will never forget what happened at ground zero!

The Most Important Thing In My Life is...
The most important thing in my life is softball. I've been playing for about 8-9 years! Now that I'm much older, it has become my number one priority. If it came down to it, I would miss my homecoming and prom for a tournament. I am preparing to get scouted for college being in showcases. This is where college coaches from many different colleges come out and watch you play. They are not really judging on how well you play, (all though that is important), but mostly looking at when you fail how do you hold yourself? Do you get mad and bring your team down? Do you shake it off and next time come up and do something spectacular? This is what I'm focused on! I want to make it, for softball, to a D1 university. If I keep softball as my top priority and most important thing in my life, I can come closer to acheiving my goal!

Photoshop tools work wonders!
Today in photoshop, I used the crop tool, the move tool, the magic wand tool, all three lasso tools, and the rectangular marquee tool to make this picture. First I used the crop tool to cut out the little bodies from a picture. Then I used the move tool to bring them onto the yellow beatles background. After I used the magic wand to get rid of the white background the bodies were still on. Then I brought up another picture, this time i took only the heads. To do this I used the three lasso tools. To size and position the heads just right on the bodies I went to EDIT, then scrolled down to TRANSFORM and clicked on scale and rotate.
Voting At 18??
When I turn 18 will I vote?
Honestly, I don't know if I will vote when I'm 18. I mean, Up until about 3 years ago I would vote on the silly kid voting ballets that don't count for anything, and wouldn't really understand who it was I was voting for and what would they be doing? I either picked them because their name sounded like somebody I knew or I just liked the name. I'm pretty sure if I did that on an actual ballet that is not good. I think , maybe, if I can understand and appreciate the reason I'm voting then I will vote.

The Crazy Weekend!
Many people may have gone up north or maybe out of town for the labor day weekend, but for my family we stayed home and were busy the whole weekend! Friday after school me and my siblings cleaned my house so we could go to a birthday party at Dave and Buster's. We came there with 6 and left with a different 6 people. My friends Alexis Gonzalez and Valerie Vidal came home with us and my sister Anjolina stayed at their house. That night we got sugared up on giant pixie sticks and nerd ropes. Saturday we went to the Rio Vista batting cages and practiced for about 2 hours then went to my neighbors and swam. The next day was toooo crazy!!! We went to a surprise b-day party and left because of a fight. then we went to our friends house until about 3am. Sunday we relaxed swimming at our neighbors and bbqing ribs! It was a great way to end my busy weekend!!!!

"School Pride"
What does the school pride mean to me?? Showing school pride means dressing up on spirt days, cheering on your school teams, (no matter how bad they might be), and wearing your class colors proudly! School pride is how you show what you think of your school. When the school exhibits school pride we come together as a family!
